SouthBMore’s Best 2015, SouthBMore.com’s inaugural competition and celebration of the best of South Baltimore, kicks off today. Readers will vote in 30 different categories and select the best restaurants, businesses, foods, drinks, attractions, and professionals in South Baltimore. The nomination period will be open for nearly two weeks from August 4th to August 16th and then the top three winners in each category will be voted on during the multiple choice round, which will run from August 17th to August 31st.
The winners will be announced online on September 8th and then officially celebrated at SouthBMore’s Best Bash presented by Little Havana and Intrinsic Events on Wednesday, September 30th from 7pm to 10pm at Little Havana. Tickets for the event will cost $25 and can be purchased in advance at:

Attendees will receive free drinks from South Baltimore-based brewers and food from Little Havana and other local restaurants and vendors. This celebration of all things South Baltimore will showcase the great local products and businesses in the area, plus feature a Pixilated Photo Booth, Fed Thrill Sunglasses giveaways, money wheel, giveaways, prizes, and more. SouthBMore.com will also be raising money for the Baltimore Police Department Auxiliary Unit, a volunteer organization which is looking to purchase new bikes to patrol South Baltimore.
