Ramen and Pho Coming to Federal Hill 

First reported by The Baltimore Sun, Edward Kim, the former owner of Soigne which was located at the former Tuscan Fresh and now Breadbangers space, is making his culinary return to South Baltimore. Kim will be opening a new restaurant called Mi & Yu Noodle bar at 1016 S. Charles. St. in Federal Hill at the former Copper Kitchen. Mi & Yu is a quick dine-in and carryout concept restaurant that will serve ramen, pho, udon, bahn mi, steam buns, duck fat fries, and homemade teas and lemonades.

Copper Kitchen has relocated to a larger space in Carroll-Camden/Pigtown.

OrderUp Baltimore Opens Federal Hill Office

Mobile food delivery service OrderUp was founded in Baltimore and is headquartered in Canton, but its local division, OrderUp Baltimore, is now based in Federal Hill.  OrderUp Baltimore has leased two floors and 1200 sq. ft. at 711 William St. The company’s general manager, assistant general manager, and two community marketing managers will work in this new space.

Real estate startup Kinglet also has an office at 711 William St. and OrderUp Baltimore used Kinglet to find its new space.

Fed Thrill Adds Aviators

Locally-based sunglasses company Fed Thrill has added aviators to its product line. People can now purchase Maverick frames or Fed Thrill’s original Fulton frames.

The Pabst Castle at 1834 S. Charles St. is currently under construction for a conversion into office space. This week the window openings that were previously covered in brick have been reopened.

The building was originally a bottling plant for the Pabst Brewing Company. The property has been vacant since Maryland Glass & Mirror left about 10 years ago.

Terps Hoops Return to Charm City

Maryland Basketball will make its return to Baltimore City as the Terps have scheduled a matchup vs. Princeton on December 19th at Royal Farms Arena according to The Baltimore Sun. Games in Baltimore used to be a yearly occurrence for the Terps, but this will be the team’s first appearance since 1999.

Corfu Opens 

Corfu has opened at the former Crazy Lil’s space at 27 E. Cross St. Corfu’s menu is focused on Greek-inspired small plates.
